A return to the roots of Malbec as we know it. Though practically synonymous with Argentina today, few are aware that Cõt (Malbec´s original French name) first arrived in Chile. If Malbec had not arrived in South America we would likely not be aware of it today. The Aromo Malbec, hailing from the country where the South American success story began, is slightly smoky, with aromas of dark fruit and an intense scent of violets. It gives a more slender and reserved impression than its counterparts from the neighbouring country, but in return is more drinkable and versatile. Its rustic elegance opens up many pairing possibilities.
Pairings: Hearty pasta dishes, roasts, grilled meats, bean and lentil dishes.
Storage potential: 5-7 years (can be significantly longer under ideal conditions)
