A touch of Veneto! Uruguayan Tannat with traditional Venetian craftsmanship. The must of the grapes, dried for 15 days, is co-fermented with the parent wine. This process gives the wine a little more "sweetness", but not enough to remove it from the land of the dry. On the nose, it captivates with inviting truffle and fennel notes. On the palate it is persistent, with hints of hazelnut and rhubarb preserves, flowing over into a long reverberating finish.
Pairings: Roast- and braised dishes
Storage potential: 7-9 years (can be significantly longer under ideal conditions)
