Viña Aromo
The Distinctives
Started as an investment by a French businessman in 1922, Viña El Aromo luckily fell into the hands of the Henriquez family in 1936. But it wasn’t until 1997, however, that the family business opened up for export. A key figure in this great success is the talented oenologist Jimena Egaña, who has been calling the shots in the cellar for almost 20 years. In 2019, while still in her twenties, Egaña won Chile`s "Oenologist of the Year" award – quite an accomplishment considering the competition in that country. All of Jimena’s wines bear her unmistakable signature. Yet another example of female excellence in winemaking!
